The Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences (LACS) is responsible for the educational, scholarly, outreach and service missions of the College in the areas of animal health care for food animals, equine, companion animals and ornamental fish. The Department shares the responsibility for the UF Veterinary Hospitals with the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. The UF Veterinary Hospitals provide the setting and fundamental resources for both instructional and clinical research in the Department.
